My Mom's friend gave it to me as my first car... he had no idea what he had. Replaced it with a 2009 Rav4, and went from one of the most highly engineered sedans in automotive history to a heavily decontented SUV. Trunk reeked of trash, car was not well taken care of, dented, bare steelies, it is sad how such an iconic car which revolutionized the industry can be so mistreated... Its like having a sports 800 or AE86 Corolla and abusing it. I pulled out dents, added hubcaps, cleaned it up, replaced transmission solenoids, and its finally a decent condition car. If only it was one owner and cared for properly.
