This has been a Wisconsin car its entire life. Built in September 1994, it sat new on a dealer lot near Rhinelander until May 1996. A friend of mine's step daughter bought it in 2000 and sold it to another friend in 2004, where they used it as a summer cruiser.
I first laid eyes on this car in 2005 when I got my driver's license and immediately fell in love, however, my friends didn't want to sell it. Finally, the day after Christmas in 2010, I was able to pick her up for $2500 with 147,000 miles on the odometer.
Being a V6 car originally, and lots of miles, the car wasn't worth much but since the body was in excellent condition my husband and I decided to do an unconventional motor swap to a 4.6 V8.
We started the swap in October 2011 and are 90% completed with it as of November 2012. The goal was to finish it this past summer but due to time and money constraints it's being pushed to March 2013. We're both really looking forward to it being done and enjoying it out on the roads!
