That is off the chain! Does the bass drop real deep?
If you're looking for something to play 20 - 30Hz continuous tones to shake the ground and rattle your teeth, they're probably not for you. These are more for a balanced/accurate bass. They'll handle 400W continuous, 800W peak and have a very tight punch and quick recovery. They don't publish a frequency response (and I don't blame them since published F/R is typically overstated), but I'm guessing they will go clean to about 25 or 30Hz.

Neither, that is actually some cheap Silex 80mil (although I think it's closer to 50 or 60mil). I've only used it in the trunk and wheel wells. Although it is just "OK" it is super-cheap, but I wouldn't use it again. I prefer using a much higher quality product. I don't mind paying for the quality when it does a better job.

I did the door outer skins, door inner skins, floor, firewall, roof, package shelf and hood with Kno Knoise Kolossus 100mil. Kolossus is a great product and in some independent testing it bested Dynamat Xtreme at a much lower price. Another option you may want to look into is Resonix Squares. They're new but it looks like they're picking up where SDS left off. Some thought SDS was the best before the owner retired and shut-down. If you're looking more for bargain CLD, look at Noico. Silex and Noico I think are about the same.

So then jazz and classical will sound awesome on it then.

Emphatically... YES!

I listen to mostly Classic Rock & Blues, but I have a fair amount of Jazz & Classical. This setup (Subs, tweeters and mid-woofers) shines on the more technically nuanced genres.
