Would a 5S-FE from a 3rd gen Camry drop right into a 4th gen with no modification? I know they're both 5S-FE but I wasn't sure if the mounts or harnesses might differ. I'm thinking they might, as a 1995 wouldn't have OBD2.

1995 Camry, 2.2L, auto, 112k miles This is my mom's car, runs great until recently. Whenever it rains, like pours for a whole day or more, it will idle rough like a misfire. You notice it mostly when idling, even in neutral, not so much in park. When driving you can still feel a slight miss...

Hi .. My 1995 Camry LE (4 cyl) is older than both my kids. Bought it when it had 7 miles, and now have close to 256000 miles, and runs great. The issue I have is .. the power windows are working fine, sunroof/moonroof is working fine, but the power locks are not working on any of the doors. We...

Hi everyone, My mom's 95 Camry LE (~86k miles on it) has had soft brakes since we got it a few years ago. At one point it was so bad it barely stopped, so we replaced the master cylinder, brake booster, and front pads. Now its better than before, but still doesn't feel great, almost like you...

Hey guys, I have a 95 Camry LE with the 5S-FE engine (auto). I'm 75% sure my head gasket is leaking coolant, so I'm trying to find out what all needs to be done to remove the head. Just FYI, there are zero visible drips/leaks, radiator is brand new, rad hoses are brand new, and this is my...

I've been trying to figure out whats wrong with the wheel for about a week now. There is an audible clunking sound coming from the front right wheel. I can hear it a speeds up to maybe 15 to 20 mph then it fades out probably from road noise. I think I narrowed it down to a bad wheel bearing, tie...

Hi! I have a 1995 V6 LE that just rolled over to 64k miles yesterday! Probably one of the cleanest 95s out there and I love her to death! I have replaced both CV shafts (they were the originals and obviously 18 year old rubber is going to crack) but other than that only preventative/routine...

So my MIL (check engine) is on solid all the time. I went to the OBD DLC1 under the hood, pulled the short pin and connected TE1 to E1. Tried this with both O/D in and out. Can't get it to flash. This is a V6 95 Camry wagon. Add'l info: I was able to reset the system and get it to go off...

Hey Guys! The mechanic told me that my timing belt slipped on my 1MZ-FE 1995 Camry, so I decided to tackle the project myself. After I was able to get the timing belt covers off I found that the LH Camshaft Timing Pulley is Cracked and I also found a roller from the Camshaft bearing. My...

Hello everybody, great community you all have here. Thank you for helping. I need some help identifying the parts where the oil leak is coming from. It's near the passenger side wheel well area just above the oil pan and near the bottom-most pulley. I did try to tighten the bolts around the...
