  1. Highlander 2nd Generation (2008-2013)
Iam wondering if some could help me to determine if there is a parasitic draw. The ammeter reading keeps changing. Please see the video and help me https://youtube.com/shorts/UgqMp9_A_y4?feature=share
  2. Highlander 2nd Generation (2008-2013)
We just purchased a 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited Edition from friends. It has a known parasitic draw/drain, where if they didn't drive the car for a week, the battery would die. Parasitic drain test with a multimeter shows at least 300mAs being drained from the battery on an ongoing...

I recently replaced the alternator on my 01 2.2 Camry and after doing so, the car seems like it has something draining the battery. The alternator is definitely working and the battery turned a year old in December 2020. Should I be looking for a parasitic draw somewhere or is there something...

Hello everyone I have frustrating problem in my Toyota Yaris sedan 2019 engine model 2NR-FE After reconnecting negative 12V cable with multimimeter I have about 120-160 mA parasitic draw and with pulling out engine box fuses I have found after removing 25A D/L No.1 Fuse. The parasitic draw...

The problem Is I used a test light to check for shortages In my fuse box terminal. Under the 20 amp fuse (dome) I had a parasitic draw, It turned out to be the connector behind the dashboard. Problem solved It was the actuator panel and the cruise control draining the battery.
  7. Highlander 1st Generation (2001-2007)
As the title states I'm pulling a draw somewhere and I believe it's my dome light. Pulled the fuse for it and it went from a .28 to a .07 when the door was closed. it doesn't seem to be too much of an issue until it rains and then the batter is dead on ignition, but that's the first issue. The...
  8. Highlander 2nd Gen - Hybrid (XU40/2008-2013)
2008 Highlander Hybrid New battery died, and we've been having problems, so I checked the amps, and we're losing about .47A to .6A to some sort of parasitic load. When we pull the ECU-B breaker it drops to reasonable levels.:frown: Any suggestions? The battery is a Toyota battery, replaced...

Long and short of it is when the 15 amp efi fuse is pulled the parasitic draw goes away. When I pulled out the Ecu and unplugged it... the amp draw also went away. *The amp draw starts at about 1.8 amps the second the meter is hooked up then slowly drops to about 650 milliamps draw. *I've...
