How to lock the trunk for my 2019 Camry? Appreciate comments...

My door ajar light indicating that my trunk is open lights up whenever I close any of the other doors. I have to push down on my trunk (which is hard to do in a narrow garage) in order to lock my car. Any one else have/had this problem?

Mine got damaged with time and fell apart. Looking for a pattern for it if anyone has ever made one. Will probably cut it out of 1/4" plywood. Thought id ask before trying to jerry rig it. Cheers
