I know because of SAE they changed the #'s of the hps on the 06' down to 268 from it's original 280. But somehow I do some research online and it shows that the 05's hit 0-60 in 6.1 sec while the 06's hit @ 6.4 right behind the Maxima's. I thought only the #'s changed but the performance stayed the same??

Both years cars go to 60 in 6.4sec. I read this in Motor Trend magazine.

From the Toyota website:

0-60 in 6.0 seconds
"Car and Driver, July 2005"

Since the 2005 and 2006 models are essentially the same car, they will both have the same 0-60 times. I'm sure that different publications will have different times, since you can do the same run three times and have three different results. I choose to brag about my car using the information that the manufacturer publishes, since they have a greater responsibility to publish accurate information.
I run my 05 on 87 octane so I know it will not reach peak performance but it is still impressive for such a big car. Never have heard a single ping either.

I really don't think the car goes to 60 in 6sec. U have to see which model they are using the XL is the lightest and Limited is heaviest.
The Limited was clocked at 6.1 seconds.

They used the "Top-of-the-Line" Limited. Meaning, it had all the options in it.
