I didnt try turning the tube nuts up top. I'll try it when I get out for lunch. I was able to get #3 spark plug out but it seemed to be on tight. I put it back in and made sure it was tight so I'll also check and see if theres oil in there.
OK. that order (on ignition modules) you mentioned above 1-4-2-3 is correct when looking from front of car towards the windshield.no CEL light. I'll check in the morning to see the numbers on the ignition module.
I can't see how a blown fuse would allow the car to start with wrong firing order and would not allow even to crank with correct firing order. I dunno.I think it was plugged in 4-3-2-1 when it ran rough.
shouldn't it try to crank though? All I get is the initial sound of the starter going and then everything turns off.
could it be related to a fuse maybe? I checked the fuse box by the battery and it seemed like one of the red fuses were blown. Will have to check in the morning but could that be the issue?
grats!Alright so I checked all the fuses and connections and it was all good. I remeber i think from eric the car guy's video saying if there is a lot of fuel in the engine, you can push the gas pedal to the floor then crank and it will start, so i tried that and volla! I guess a little too much gas was in the engine from when I started it with the plugs in the wrong order
the car seems to run better but...I think it's idling too low? is there a idle learn procedure for the camry? I know they have them for infiniti's and BMW's
here's a picture of what it idle's at when its in park and up to normal temperature.
