01 Solara Alternator Burnout

After we replaced our 2001 Solara v.6 original alternator (100,000 miles), we keep burning up alternators and rejuicing "new" batteries, only over the last year. Seems there must be an electrical short somewhere, but having trouble finding it.

What are your thoughts about replacing the 80 amp with 100 amp alternator?

Has anyone had the same experience and can help? Thanks, in advance!
