OK, my father in laws '03 DC V6, auto Taco, with 67k just started do this. Now 15,000 miles ago it got new pads and fluid replaced at local independant shop. The brakes work fine around town, and under normal conditions. But if you load the bed with firewood, or take a off ramp and get on the brakes hard it will not even lock the tires. If you put both feet on the petal and push hard it takes another 40 feet to stop, Feels like the pressure in the system is good, till you press really hard?? Can't get the tires to squeak at all no matter how hard you try to stop. Pads have LOTs of meat left, fluid color and level is good?
