my '05 Sequoia chews the outer edge on the right front tire, I have keep the front end alligned and am running a new set of Michelin's, truck has around 45k miles...

I went into the shop the other day and asked about the ball joint replacement recall and they ordered the parts and are going to do it for me, is there any chance this is going to fix it?

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it?

thanks,
John

You are not alone. I have a 2005 and the same issue. I was told by a tire shop to save the money and buy the same tires because I would get the same wear even with more expensive tires like Continental, Goodyear or Bridgestone. I have the Dunlop Grandtreks.

yep .. me too but i have an 04 ...we took it back to the dealer after they fixed the ball joint thing .. had to lets say ..'discuss' it with them for bit but they did fix the alignment it worked for awhile but then went right back to pulling to the right and wearing down the right front tire.....now my right front is completely bald on the outter edge and we are geting tires.. we'll see how it goes.. (our mileage is at 31k )... after reading el ******'s entry .. i am frustrated cause i think this is a manufacturing issue.... but maybe im wrong.
