Just thought I would share some pics of the Highlander with some RX330 Gunmetal 18x7 wheels. Tires are 255/55/18 Nitto NT 420S. Enjoy :)

questions

Couple of questions. Do you have any rubbing either at full steering lock or maximum suspension downtravel? Have you done anything to correct the speedometer error? The 255/55-18's should have a larger OD than stock setup, making your speedometer indicate slower speeds than you actually are running at. Looks real good, though.

No rubbing at all. The Highlander drives so much different compared to the (weak) factory tire/wheel setup. Different as in more stable and smoother. These tires are only about 1/2" taller compared to the stock 225/70/16 that came on it so the difference on the speedo is very minimal. Like 1.5 mph off (slower) Not enough to be concerned.

Let me know if you have any other questions....I'll be more then happy to help.
On your speedometer, you'll have a 2.3% of difference which is not much. The proper size should have been 235/55R18, just like the new RAV4 Sport.

It's real a nice truck. I would like to drive one like yours, just to see the difference with the 16's......

I'm planning to buy the Hybrid 17' with 235/65R17, but I don't know if I'll see much difference in handling....
Lexus wheels

I am after the same wheels except in silver. What did they end up costing you? LA wheel has chrome versions on Flee Bay for about $1000. Not sure if I want chrome though, I think silver would look better. Looks good!

I've seen Highlander hybrid chrome wheels from LA Wheel as well, but I don't think I'll go for chrome. With my black highlander, maybe it would look great, but chrome needs too much care....

Where are you searching for the hybrid wheels and how much are they running for?
