Hi,

After reading old posts, I know this has come up before, but just
wanted to repost to see if any new information has arised. I have an 06
Taco TRD Access Cab. Just had 4 winter tires installed on 4 factory
steel wheels without sensors. I was not aware there would be no
override capability in the system and now have the telltale light
flashing non-stop. My local dealership told me that I will have to
live with this until I put my alloys back on or buy new sensors for my
steels. I am not interested in permanently disabling the feature (I
like it when it works ;-) and certainly not interested in tearing apart
my dash.

Any new information or work arounds anyone has found?

Thanks

Darryl

If you get new sensors will the system have to be reprogrammed? How about when
you put the alloys back on? Some makes do - even during tire rotation.

Click and Clack's recommended piece of black electrician's tape over
the blinking light sounds like the best answer till next Spring...
