When the car is stopped, I can use destination search and check the maintenance screen. When the car is moving, the screens don't respond. Is this a safety thing or is there a problem with the system?
I've never had a nav system in the car before and have only had my Camry for 3 days.

THANK YOU. I couldn't find a reference to this in the pamphlet or CD, I haven't tackled the owners manuals yet.

Does anyone know how to "override" this annoying safety "feature"? Honda's don't seem to do this.

Yeah ... definately do a search ... I have found and created a solution for those w/ v06.1 of the NAV DVD Data Disc, in addition to the standard override used on v05.1 data disc versions.
