took my 07 in to the dealer over 3 weeks ago(january 10th) for a noise in the drivers power window.. after you put the window up the motor makes a clicking/ticking noise for about 5 seconds.. maybe the motor back winding?? anyway.. they ordered a new motor and its still not in.. anyone know if there is a problem getting power window motors??? thye told me it woould be 3 days when i took it in.. i called last week and again today but no status..

There is no nation wide shortage that I have ever seen here in the years I jave been here. Sounds like they are :jerkit:

Called again today.. they said it had been on national backorder.. they also said it was released today and they should have it next week.. funny thing is i just got a survey in the mail from toyota about the service visit.. guess they will get flamed when i fill it out..

^ it's not their fault that toyota had a back ordered part.
+1 If it's Toyota's deal, why blame the dealer? Call the 1-800 number and see if they can expedite it.
BTW, took Nye Frontier here in Anchorage 5 months to get my 4-leaf spring. Was not their fault either, regional backorder.

Maybe not the dealer fault.. but they told me 3 days and its a month later.. they could of called and told me.. CUSTOMER SUPPORT 101?? i had to call 3 times to finaly find out it was back-ordered.. i'm just saying they could do a beter job at keeping the customer informed.. thats where they get flamed!

Flame on then. Some dealers are real shitty about calling the customer to update them ect.. they leave people in the dark.
