I have a 08 Limited Highlander for about a year now and noticed today that while the truck is off and parked in my garage its making a humming noise like a small electric motor is running. Sound like it is coming from under the very rear of the truck. Maybe a fuel pump running? Its pretty quiet i tried opening and closing all the doors and locking and unlocking with the remote and then a few minutes later it stopped. i will have to check on it again in a few to see if it does it again. Anybody heard this before?

It's the car checking the fuel tank / system for leaks. It's clearly described in the manual.
