Hey, my 2009 Camry was driving normally when it threw out vehicle stability control, traction control, and check engine lights on the dash. A code reader said DVVT System Retard Malfunction, Brake Boost Sensor Circuit Range/Performance, and Low Battery Positive Voltage or Abnormally High Battery Positive Voltage. Has anyone seen this combination of codes before? Based on how it was driving fine I'd like to believe I don't actually have to replace the VVT assembly.

Thanks!

11/5 Edit: Codes went away after driving then getting gas. Everything is driving fine so I'm assuming it was a stupid sensor triggering other warnings. Thanks for the help!

Suggest taking care of the engine code for now then deal with the others if they reset; like I said some engine codes will disable the ABS/VSC systems.
Follow the diagnostic steps for the whichever engine code you have to determine the cause.
Would be helpful if you have the actual code number, instead of the circuit.
The VVTi can sometimes set codes because oil level, oil pressure or sensor issues!
You can clear the codes first and see which one resets!

I'm headed out to the garage now to clear the codes, check the oil, and that the gas cap is on all the way (this was recommended to me by a friend). I had P0015, C1201, and C1241 as the listed codes if that helps. I'm really hoping it's a sensor issue.

Thanks for the follow up!!

What are the codes you had? Some engine codes can disable the ABS/VSC system and trigger ABS/VSC codes!
Right answer!. I had a 2007 Highlander and when an intermittant (sometimes when it rained) 02 sensor triggered a check engine light, ABS/VSC and perhaps others were disabled. One error is falsely triggering (disabling) the others.

So I cleared the codes and they came back. Drove it again, codes left and haven't returned. For now I'll just believe you're magic and not worry about it!

Check your alternator voltage. My 1997 Camry recently threw ABS codes and check engine light. Alternator putting out 17 volts. Replaced it and all codes disappeared.
I'll have to try this, thanks for the tip. As of right now I'm not too concerned because everything is driving fine and the lights went off after driving it and getting gas.
