There's a lot of speculation that the 2009 RAV4 will look like the JDM Toyota Vanguard.

However, there's nothing official or even any good spy pics from around the new RAV4 factory around Woodstock, Ontario, Canada.

The Toyota Vanguard interior is actually pretty much the same as the current RAV4. Main noticeable difference is that the the brushed aluminum look trim is a bronze trim on the Vanguard. Leather seats with Alcantara inserts are also unique to the Vanguard with the G-Package.

We may get optional navigation, push button start and a plasmacluster like the post 2006 JDM RAV4s & Vanguards, but it's hard to say.
