I can't help you on the oil, but if you are driving an I-4 in true highway conditions, you should be doing better than that. I get 31 mpg in my V6 with a true highway tank.07manual said:

I am currently using Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W30 (dealer installed...) and would like to use either the 0W20 or 5W20. I currently commute 125 miles a day to work, so I need an oil that can go about 8K miles between changes (highway use) and improve my fuel economy. I have a 07 CE with the manual transmission, so I purchased it to put over 200K miles on it with excellent fuel economy and very low maintenance.
I currently have 18K miles on my CE and I average about 30-31 mpg. of highway driving. I was really expecting a little closer to the 34+ mpg. on the highway, so I am hoping a lighter oil may help a little with this. This was the ultimate factor for me on choosing the 4cyl. over the V6 because of the length of drive and cost of fuel, so any help would be great (ie. it would make me feel better on the 4cyl. decision)
Any opinions? I don't really know a lot about the 0W20 but it is hard to find. I can find it in Pennzoil Synthetic but not Mobil 1. It seems the 0W20 would be the better option but 5W20 is easy to find in Mobil 1 and Amsoil.
Thanks for the help!
