0W20 vs. 5W20?

I am going to start changing my own oil and I was wondering which is better? I am currently using Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W30 (dealer installed...) and would like to use either the 0W20 or 5W20. I currently commute 125 miles a day to work, so I need an oil that can go about 8K miles between changes (highway use) and improve my fuel economy. I have a 07 CE with the manual transmission, so I purchased it to put over 200K miles on it with excellent fuel economy and very low maintenance.

I currently have 18K miles on my CE and I average about 30-31 mpg. of highway driving. I was really expecting a little closer to the 34+ mpg. on the highway, so I am hoping a lighter oil may help a little with this. This was the ultimate factor for me on choosing the 4cyl. over the V6 because of the length of drive and cost of fuel, so any help would be great (ie. it would make me feel better on the 4cyl. decision ;) )

Any opinions? I don't really know a lot about the 0W20 but it is hard to find. I can find it in Pennzoil Synthetic but not Mobil 1. It seems the 0W20 would be the better option but 5W20 is easy to find in Mobil 1 and Amsoil.

Thanks for the help!

I can't help you on the oil, but if you are driving an I-4 in true highway conditions, you should be doing better than that. I get 31 mpg in my V6 with a true highway tank.
I do have some stop and go situations but it is atleast 90% highway. I still think 30 seems low to me. My wifes previous 00 Accord 5spd. avg. 32-34, so I hope this will improve a little. I sold my 03 Volvo S60 Turbo for a reliable fuel efficient step up but I am starting to second guess a little, even it avg. 30? I really thought the Toyota was the smarter choice instead of the Honda. Most people I know with Toyota's always get better than the expected fuel economy and of course reliability;)

I am not asking for miracles but it would be nice to get a little closer to the 34 on the sticker.

Thanks:cool:
0W20 would be fine in Minnesota during January but not in North Carolina. Stick with the 5W20 or 10W30.
Don't use 10W30 in the '07 I4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help! I will probably stick with 5W20. As for the 10W30, that is what the dealer has put in it on every oil change. They told me that was what they used (even though the manual and motor say otherwise) in the Camry. Changing to a lighter weight oil should help me gain 1-2 mpg and a little power, especially since I have been using 10W30. Either way, I would much rather install what the manual calls for than using what Toyota uses across the board at the dealer.

Thanks!
I use 5w-20 Syntec Blend and get about 30-31mpg and i drive about 100 miles a day and my driving is about 90% highway with some 5% fun driving on the road.
I your SE an I4 or V6? By the way that's a nice looking Camry in your sig...I like the charcoal SE's.
