HFT advertised price is usually the same in store. I've had one of those for about 7 years, and have used it many times. It still works like the day I bought it. Well worth the $20 I paid for it years ago. If you don't have one, get one. For $9.99, I might get another one just to have 2 of them.

LOL, glad you like it fellow members :D

yeah in-store deals are same as online.

btw, always take a print out of any promotion in HFT online. they may not have it in stock when you come in, they may need a part number to look it up in their local system or simply you can use the printed promo page for purchase after price goes up again (did it once hehe).
cashiers always accept web pricing ;)

i got mine at other promo at $12.99 or so (or maybe it was the 3/8'' i don't remember well haha). anyways, those wrenches are great and i have to say i love them :) especially at such prices :D

just remember to store them at or below ZERO ft-lbs (loose handle, loose spring inside) and you will keep them precise for long.

i have to admit that sometimes i keep using this 1/2'' wrench (with loose handle) as a breaker bar ;) nothing wrong thus far hehe.

this wrench is perfect (together with deep well metric socket set from HFT) for lug nuts torquing to specs. it also helped me a lot on many stubborn bolts that can take a 1/2'' deep well socket.

$9.99 and no coupon required. That's one great deal! Months ago they were on sale for $9.99 w/ coupon, and then the coupon price went up to like $11.99. So this price is a steal.

I bought another one of these with the coupon months back. Tried torquing 20 lb/ft and 50 lb/ft against an older HFT one that torques only in the right-hand direction (the new one torques in both, useful for left-hand thread bolts). And guess what, they both click at the same time. All metal construction, can't beat it.

The Danaher-made Craftsman have a lot of problems with the plastic lock ring breaking and the handling spinning loose. However, their ratcheting mechanism is smoother and feels just better made. But can't beat the HFT price. I agree, every trunk needs one.

After you pick up your torque wrench, head on over to Autozone and take advantage of the 2 for 1 sale on Chevron's Techron Fuel Additive. It's on the front page of the flyer, but you don't need any coupon. Just show up and give them $8.00 and you get two 12 ounce bottles. Here's a link to the flyer:

And then when you leave Autozone, head on over to Frys Electronics. They have a Hitachi 320 GB, 7200 RPM, 16mb cache, laptop 2 1/2" hard drive for $45.00. A little off topic, but I thought it was worth mentioning. ;)

haha, i took the chevron techron deal last week from autozone :D
forgot to mention it, glad you did my friend :)
all the goodies for TN members :D

as per HDD you posted, you can get a 1.5TB seagate barracuda (though it is 5900rpm, however 32mb cache) at $79.99 with free shipping from newegg's father's day special for less than double price over that 320GB, better $/MB ratio :D
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...cm_re=1.5tb_hard_drive-_-22-148-531-_-Product

might be good to consider as well :D
however personally i don't use any internal (got one external freeagent 500gb for 3 yrs, so far no disasters) seagate drives for their bad reputation.

i think your Hitachi link was better, after all they also make the Tokico struts for our rides, not only the hard drives for our desktops so we can lurk around on this forums haha ;)

sorry for OT.

The Hitachi 320 MB is a 2 1/2" Laptop drive, not a 3 1/2" desktop drive. Big difference. ;) Wasamatteru.
