Bought a 2014 camry xle. Heated seats appear to not be working. I did not buy any kind of warranty with the vehicle.

What am I looking at for parts/labor and how hard is it do replace yourself? Thanks for any help.

A while back someone posted about theirs not working either and found some melted wiring. I would try to check the wiring out first to see if there is a problem there to avoid a potential fire hazard. Regarding repair costs, sorry, no idea.

Is it one or both seats ❔ Does the light in the switch even light up ❔ could be wiring, fuse ,switch, the heater elements themselves, or there might even be a relay in there somewhere. Bottom line is you need to find the problem before even thinking cost.

The switches do light up. I'm pretty sure neither work but I'll check the passenger side again to be certain. If it's a fuse does anyone know off hand which fuse it will be?
