How's it going everyone. Can anyone tell me what other Toyota car 15" alloy rims will fit the 1990 Cressida. I just bought some Hankock tires for my existing OEM rims, but want to buy some better looking alloy rims. Thanks.

thanks for the info to date about 15" rims that will fit my Cressida. I am now realizing that I should have waited before buying new 15" tires, so i could have checked with other options were available. What is the 15" rim off-set I need to look for when checking out other Toyota rims or aftermarket rims. Also, can I go with 17" rims on the Cressida? I've seen some 16" Solara rims/tires for sale as well. I recall before buying the new tires that I asked the guy to offer me a tire larger then the 195/60/15 that was on the car, so we tried a 225/60/15 and the tires were rubbing against the front struts. So we went with a 205/60/15. I don't particulary like the OEM stock rim and want to consider other options. I like the aftermarket 5-7 spoke alloy rims, but not sure how nice these will look with the 15" tires. I guess I am just trying to get the Cressida a sportier, yet keep it classic look. Any suggestions are appreciated.

brandon, thanks for sharing these pics. This is actually the look i'm in search of. So the IS300 17" inch rim will fit my Cressida without making any mod's to my Cressida right?? Will the 17" rub in front?? Do you know? This is a clean looking wheel and it will look nice on my pearl white car!!! I've seen several sets of the IS300 rim off of a 2002 and 2004 IS300, 5 bolt 114. Will these fit because the price is right and I just might pick them up plus I am checking out some other aftermarket 17" rims

cressida rims are (afaik) 15x6 +20 offset
Actually, they're +50. It's stamped on the wheel, not that it matters. Thanks for the shirt, by the way. It's tres cool!

LACRESSIDAGUY, the IS300 wheels will fit with zero problems. I suppose you can try selling your 15" tires.

Or you can go 18s:

thanks 92MX83. I like your rims as well. The cressida looks nice with the larger wheels. Well, if the guy selling the IS300 rims responds to my email I may just buy his 17" IS300 rims and tires. He is selling really cheap, so hopefully they are in descent condition. His add does say they have some curb rash. I may also check out some other aftermarket 17's

92MX83, your rims are awesome as hell. for some reason, 5 spokes just make me horny. if i hadn't seen TRD-MX83's rims first i'd probably go with something like yours. have you made any other mods to your cress?

T3 coilovers, Z32 front brakes, 2JZ-GTE currently being wired, JDM Mark II front end conversion sitting at my body guy's shop, Big Win bodykit in transit from the motherland. My car isn't even close to being done, so I ride a motorcycle in the meantime.

The rims are Fikses from an S2000. Quite honestly, they're not that nice (no lip) due to the high positive offset, and they're a PITA to clean. Running lower-offset wheels will require me to run excessive camber, and run afoul of the vehicle recon nazis here in Honolulu. Other states may be a little more lenient on the wheel alignment issue though. I'll probably run my 16" Aristos on a day-to-day basis, and keep the Fikses for special occasions.

yeah.. I like my rims cause they were SO much easier to clean than the stock 15" wheels that had the 20 little holes... (I guess 20.. it seems more like 100+ when you clean all 4 wheels hehe..)

Yeah I like to "look" at wheels like 92MX83... but I HATE cleaning those things.. hehe..

Well like everyone already stated.. the IS rims fit just fine, no spacers, nothing needed to make them fit. =)

Only thing I'd like to get is the SPORTCROSS version of these wheels since the rears of those are 7.5" wide... so I can fit the 235/45/17 rubber. perhaps even 245/40/17? But I'm happy still with the look of these 17x7" wheels. =)

MX83, where did you get the center cap? I picking up some IS300 rims today, and I've been thinking about the center caps. I dont really want to drive with the "L" Lexus center cap. I'll leave them on for now until I figure something else out.

Rim Discoloration/blemishes

Hey guy's I bought the IS300 rims today. All four are free of curb rash, but two of them have a lot of discoloration/blemishes. The color of the rims looks like the gunmetal finish. They do not look like the silver finish. The discoloration on the two rims is black, almost like they are stained with some black polish or something, to the point where it looks like something black was dripped on them by accident because you can see the drips stains. I'm sure I can have the two rims re-done, but I am not sure where to take them in Los Angeles. The guy was asking $400 and I got him down to $280 for all 4 rims and the worn out tires. I hope i got a good deal, just as long as it doesn't cost me a lot to refinish the two rims. Actually at night you can't even tell they are discolored, its only in the bright sun light that its noticeable. any suggestions are appreciated.
