if i remember correctly, the front speaker grilles of the '82 corona can be popped off the dash by using a flat tipped screw driver. just do it carefully so that you don't break the plastic grille.

i don't recall the '82 corona being sold with rear speakers here but i'd suspect that a 5.25" speaker would be a good fit in the rear if you don't want to cut/bend the rear deck sheet metal.

my bad...thinking back. the grilles might be fixed, molded in with the lower dash panel. you will have to remove the lower dash panels to replace the speakers. sorry for the confusion. the lower dash panels are simply held on by a few screws.

Well I don't know how the Aussie 82 Corona is built, but my 79 had kickpanel speakers. The rears were 6x8, but since they weren't installed I had to cut the holes. I foolishly tried using the factory stereo wiring, and had to find out the hard way that that's a no-no. Anyway, I installed Infinity 4" speakers in the kickpanel right were the factory speakers were. I installed Infinities in the rear as well. My HU is a Kenwood Excelon CD receiver. Sounds awesome! BTW, ended up running new speaker wires to all four speakers.
