1987 22RE 5 speed 4x4 pickup

what is most likely ratio of the rear axles of these trucks and what is percentage of possibility that either has a LSD or posi diff? how can i know without pulling diff cover if either has an LSD or posi?

im looking to take one or the other for my 1991 s10 2wd pickup since the leaf pack pad distance is identical yayyyy but i dont knwo which year axle would be the better one, i want around 3.73 and an LSD.
currently i have a 7.625 GM and open and 3.08 and i need to haul more weight and add more leaves to it also, and toy rear would also convert it to over axle leaf packs yayyy

Both are most likely 4.10.
If they are still in the vehicles look at the axle code on the VIN plate. Code for 4.10 is G292.

Chance of either having an LSD (or posi, same thing) is about zero,

One difference between the 2 axles that may make a difference for you is width, the 87 is 3" wider.
