Alright, I have a 1985 22r Toyota Pickup. We are thinking the coil is bad and needs to be replaced. I found an 1985 Coil/Ignitor for a 22re engine on ebay. The picture from ebay looks like the igniter/coil from my dads 1990 22re Toyota 4x4 pickup. Will the 22re coil work with the 22r engine?

The connectors may be different but it will work.
Why not try the one off of your Dad's truck first.

I got mine at auto zone for bout 38$ brand new.

rather have new, then ebays.
