My sons sweet running runner was just hit in the rear wheel by someone going through the intersection on a red light. Sooooooo. By the vin# the 1990 can take either a 4.10 or a 4.55. The tag on the door says that it is a 4.55.

Question: Can it take a 4.10 or 4.55 from any 4wd v6 rig from 1990-1995?
I think I would get better millage from a 4.10 is correct thinking?
Can this rear end be from a 4 cyl. eng 4wd type?
I have never been involved with r&r of big items such as this. So a little schooling would be nice from the guys that have done this type of work. Thanks for sharing

4.55 = better off road, 4.10 better on road, and yes you are probably correct regarding mileage. 4.10 would give you a higher top speed. (about 100 mph in my truck with no wind)
