New member, it has been time to revive the old family beater in the garage due to spring cleaning.

It is a 1990 Corolla SR5 randomly dies when coming to a stop, car has had issue before going into storage and still exists.

Since then, after a jump the car runs and drives fine, eventually after being on randomly it will die and will not turn back on. The battery is fine and it has gas and I've just replaced the spark plugs, distributor rotor and cap as well as the gas cap.

It does not happen after a specific amount of time, but rather randomly when driving. Something odd however, is it does idle a bit high around 1800rpm. The coolant needle is right about dead in the middle, unsure if it had already warmed up (if someone can chime in on this).

Attached is a pic of the beaut in storage, excuse the mess >:D

Thanks in advance!
