Hi all, I'm having a real bad time trying to removal the steering rack from my (sons) GTi. The track rod end "big hole" in the body is too small for the rack & power steering union to pass thru (drivers side as instructed by Haines). If it weren't for the extra bit of the power steering ie just a non PAS rack, it would be a peace of p*ss. Can anyone out there shed any light on how to get the rack out of the car?
