They're Bosal headers. And those are awesome! I'd get them man. 4cyl are all that's left for headers. They discontinued the V6 version.

If you don't like the company, I ran a thread about a month ago on a few companies that carry them for Gen 3. Just search headers, you should find it.:)
Thanks for the help and about the bosal catback systems would you reccomend those or what for those I aint looking to buy yet cus I gotta get my car fixed because my hood just flew off and shattered my windshield and sunroof but after that probably be looking to buy...
Everything Bosal makes is good.

I'd hold off on the exhaust though. That is the last thing you want to put on a car. Cause the exhaust has to be tuned to match what you are putting out.

but if you want one, they are for sure worth it.
Shawn, (one of the first camry show guys) had them on and he had fitment problems. This was about 4 years ago... dunno if they still have problems with it though.
Thanks for the replies... about the hood actually Im not sure the hood closed sounded closed but since I got the car the hood latch has always acted a little funny so I think that might of had to do with it but I was only going like 50 but it was windy as hell out and it just ripped the hood from the hood struts and it smacked to my car and bent backwards and shattered the windshield and sunroof..
^ yikes, glad ur okay man?? :dunno: i have a friend up north that has headers on his gen3 camry, and it sure does make a hella difference in terms of horsepower... i'm pretty sure the headers will give more hp than an intake or exhaust..
Headers give imports one of the things hardest for them to get.... Low-end power:) I wish they still made them for V6:(

Yukio, were they the V6 headers that your friend had? Cause I had heard about those having minor fitting problems...
Hey wassup bLaCkNgOlDcAm,

Looking to invest in headers? Trust me they are difinitely worth it if your looking to power up the 5sfe motor. Thing is you will be eliminating the entire stock exhaust system, (front cat manifold, downpipe cat, resonator and stock muffler. You will need to bring it to a muffler shop to get it done. What year camry do you have? If you need help let me know, I think a94autoCamry already mentioned that I did it. Alright man, good luck to you. Oh yea sfxperformance is not the cheapest place to get those.

Cheapest place I know: $312 plus shipping.

Actually you don't need to do a new exhaust. You can hook it up to your stock system if you know what your doing. If the Bosal ones meet OEM specs, you should be able to do an exact hook-up with the same exhaust. Seeing as it is only a 4cyl.
The thing is, the bosal system isn't OEM spec direct bolt on like it says. I had to modify a lot of things to get it to fit. The top part of the headers fit fine on all 5sfe motors with no problem. Its the downpipe that needs modifying. The test pipe end is way too small to put the gasket in which I had to get it widen plus it the test pipe itself was too long and I needed to get it cut short to fit. On top of that I needed custom piping to connect it altogether. Trust me it is NOT direct bolt on like it says. I wish I was! But its not, o yea you gotta weld on a 02 bung for the second sensor as well to put on the manifold cat. You also need a cat welded on as well.
The cars exhaust system is not stock but it was done by a muffler shop before I owned it but the car wasnt taken care of good so its not in good condition but it isnt stock nor the muffler but if I did purchase the headers how much total do you think it would be for installation and everything and what would the final cost be..

Basically it depends on where you go. But remember you do need a cat as well. So your looking at $312+ shipping estimated cost would probably be like $330, labor for sure will be around $130 that includes custom piping and welding everything together and the cat which is around 80 bucks. So grand total is $540 but then again do research and find the cheapest places to do the stuff.

For example Ebay!

They have high-flow cats for about $140. Nice ones too.

I got an estimate of $300 for my system (non-catback). So there are some good deals out there.

Yeah, I have never seen the 4cyl header, so i wasn't entirely sure. Damn them
Ok thanks for all the help it will be a whiel yet before I get to this because I have some repairs to get to first but I'll post pics when I do finally get it done...
