Hello all,

My 1992 Pickup Parking Brake light is always on.

Any suggestions on having it work correctly?

How would you diagnose?

Check the fluid level in the Master Cylinder.
Okay. just Manually checked it. Still stays on.
Parking brake light? I would be checking the switch. If it's a foot operated brake look from the pedal up to the hinged area. Bet there's a switch near that area which may be loose or defective.
it's the usual toyota truck inconvenient pull out from the dash ebrake.

first, make sure the parking brake is fully retracting into the dash. Next: yes, there's a switch on it buried in the dash that might be bad or even just misaligned. If you can unplug it and the light goes out, it's the switch.

Having this same issue, will you supply a clear photo of the 'switch' that is buried in the dash?

This video on youtube clearly shows the switch at about the 00:17 mark.
