These cars don't have multiple layers of paint, so a machine polish will look better than hand, but won't look stellar. These cars do oxidize after about 10 years in the elements. Probably time for a new paint job.
1995 Tercel Paint Issues
I have a red 95 Tercel and the paint is heavily oxidized. Using a cut wax of my own by hand has yielded little improvement. Is there any benefit of going to a detailer to get a machine cut polish, or is this fade the norm for this year Tercel?
