I've been having some troubles with my 95 Camry. First, I rear ended a guy a little while ago, and luckily he had a trailer hitch so I didn't fuck up his truck, but, anyway, it ended up cracking my radiator a little bit, so it leaks a little antifreeze. So, onto my question, has anyone used anything to seal up a small leak in a radiator? what products are worth using?, and which should be avoided?

Second, now that its getting cold, when i first start my engine, after putting it into gear, it will take a few seconds for the transmission to engage. Usually during the day, it doesn't matter because I think about it. But, I'm a volunteer firefighter, so, if I get a call late at night, I will rush out of my house, and I'm afraid that if I floor it leaving my house, I'm going to fuck something up. So, has anyone else had this problem, and if you have, what did you do to fix it.

A. if you have the oe radiator, (if it has plastic top piece) replace it with one with metal top, otherwise take it to a radiator shop to see if its easier to just replace it or repair. B. first check tranny fluid, seccond well, thats all i could reccomend...if you have high mileage, your tranny may be going. (asking a mechanic recommended)

^Yeah. They aren't expensive. I put mine in for about 90 bucks. Four screws and that was it. My car hesitates in the cold. So does my Dad's new bimmer. Just makes sure you got a good oil and your fluids are good.

if you are going to sell it that is more reason to get a new radiator...

if its in the spring, you want it to last till then right??? get a new rad. even if it is patched, chances are expansion and contraction from the temp changes of winter are going to hurt it too...
