According the the trans kit book, from 1994 to 2001 Camry trans is a A541E trans.
I'm trying to find out if the trans will interchange for all those years????
I have a 1996 Wagon. To me the trans is slipping. Trans shop said nothing wrong.
The trans model maybe the same, but sometimes the computer control is changed from year to year, so it will not interchange.
Also is the trans the same for a 4cly and 6cy????
I know for Nissan, sometimes the trans model is the same, the year is the same, but the 4cly and 6cly use different rebuild kits.
Anyone have any experience with something like this????

The sticker on the driver's door jamb will show which transmission you have.
