Have a 1996 Toyota Camry LE 4-door 4-cyl engine sedan. Unfortunately key broke in the trunk and now the Trunk is locked. The lock is in the horizontal position. The trunk lever does not open the trunk. Is there a way to crawl inside the trunk and open it from there so I can replace the lock? Would appreciate any and all help. Thanks

... suggest getting some teflon type lubricant. This would probably be available at most hardware stores. Then get a dental pick tool of some type ... with a sharp wire tip. See if you can get the broken key piece to wiggle out. Use plenty of the lube oil.

I use a product like this to keep my trunk key cylinder functional.:

... ought to work. Dental tools available at most drug stores.
