Hiy everyone, as title says I have a 1999 Camry v6 3.0 with about 305,000 miles on it. Runs well, I just finished replacing the O2 senors on it. The one on the manifold and the one by the firewall. I believe they are bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. Prior to replacing the O2 sensors it gave me codes p1135 A/F sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1) as well as code p1155 A/F sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 2 sensor 1) . Those codes were erased after being replaced. Drove it around for 40 miles now I am getting code p1133 A/F sensor circuit "response" malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1). Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Sorry for the long write up.

What brand of sensors did you install, and where’d you get them?

Do you have a CA emissions car with A/F sensors? You said you replaced O2 sensors. Also bank 2 sensor 2. Was that a typo? If you installed anything but genuine Denso sensors you will likely have problems. Hopefully you didn’t buy junk from eBay.
Yes I have a California emmisions car as I do live in California. Yes sorry for that it was a typo. Bank 2 sensor 1. I did purchase from Ebay. Smh. Should I purchase a whole new pair you think? Of Denso? Thank you Artbuc1. Appreciate your response.

The P0125 is a sympathy code to the O2 sensor code. Fix that, and it’ll go away.

I suspect the new sensors you installed are junk. Can you provide a link to what you bought on eBay? Recommend you get Denso sensors. Look up the p/n you need here on Denso’s website, then get them on Rockauto.

O2 Oxygen Sensor Upstream Air/Fuel Ratio For Toyota Sienna Camry Lexus RX300 G1R | eBay

That is the link to the oxygen sensors that I purchased. Ill check that website out. Let me know what your think of those sensors that i purchased. Thanks.

I purchased those due to the fact it said it had California emissions. So I should purchase Denso to just be sure, correct?

Are the air/fuel ratio sensor the same as the oxygen sensor?

No. The California cars use A/F sensors and the Federal cars use O2 sensors. If you have precats you know you have Cali emissions, in case your label is missing under the hood.

For $20 I am certain the sensors your purchased are a hoax.

Denso is what you want.
