Sweet my first post and its actually useful.

I recently obtained a 99 Corolla VE, and had it completely repainted. During which I saw that the wire for the power mirrors was indeed already run through the door and just sitting there. I'm about to order a power mirror switch as I also have the harness attached to my coin slot.

check ebay, i got 2 power mirrors, interior panels, and the power mirror switch for $50 shipped. don't forget the mirror trim panel for the interior, the power mirror panel doen't have a little hole in the middle.

That's funny I think you bought them some the same person on eBay I was looking at. I asked about the interior pieces and the power switch and he said they were already gone.

The exact same. Yeah I plan on replacing the Tach at some point, to me a dash just doesn't look complete with it. Right now I have to focus on finding new wheels and tires. One of my steelies has a slow leak so I figure its time to upgrade.

i would definitely get whatever i needed from that 1999 corolla, he is the cheapest! i would offer him $25-30 for the cluster, and you use your old speedo to keep the mileage. you would just need the ambient sensor for the outside temp(i alrady got that from him)

Housing of the mirrors is plug and play, the mirrors itself are not interchangable they have different backing plates.
