I hope to get something going here. Everyone pop open your hoods and show us your 1MZ-FEs! Haha! Here's mine. Be sure to list your mileage. Mine's at 119k. Well the engine has been replaced or at least pulled. Bought the car used and it says the last time the timing belt was replaced was in 1998... my solara's a 1999... :ugh3: The wiring harness grommet on the firewall (for the engine) was also misplaced... The car does drive awesome though.

YES I KNOW IT NEEDS A DETAILING. I'm going to do it tommorow. I'll be sure to post revised pics.

It's not the shiniest or the cleanest, but other things make up for it...

Nice. You guys w/ turbos, stock internals? I like the older gen camrys engine covers... would one fit on a newer 1mzfe? hehe.

I'm stock, Tony isn't. Internal upgrades are recommended but apparently it's not completely necessary. It's all about how much boost you're running. Idk about the engine covers...
thoes are some nice turbo engines right there:thumbup:

the early gen3 covers wont fit. but building one is easy as pie, juet get some metal sheeting or dimond plate and go to towm.
Tony's engine is too shiny. Especially that hair dryer of his. :D
what did he do to it did he polish it with some thing can it be done at home ??

Ill put one up with headers next week :D I also need to take care of that nasty valve cover.
