Hey you guys has anyone ever tried to put 20 inch rims on a 1998 toyota avalon? I was told it was possible but when it tried them on it scrubbed the fender well in the front I tried that with 245 size 20" tires..Also when I tried letting the car down off the jack it would touch the strut.. I have subwoofers so my car's back end is sort of low and even though I tried a little smaller of a 20" tire called the 225 the rims would scrub against the strut tower in the back..I have yet to try 225s in the front..I was thinking about spacers or a lift kit which one would work? can someone tell me what they did to get 20" rims to fit on there avalon?

It sounds like the offset/backspacing of your wheels is incorrect. The struts on the Avalon sit very close to the backside at the top of the tire, not much room for variance. You would probably be looking at a 225/30/20 with the correct offset.
People run spacers, I wouldn't.
