Anybody have this problem? It is not from burning oil. We tested the compression of each cylinder, it was ranging from 135psi-155. Car has about 295km, and its leaking from the right hand side. I tried a few sealers and the best one, rislone concentrated main sealer repair was temporary.

I ended up using 10w30 last oil change. The valve cover gasket was as brittle as thin ice, I ended up replacing it a few months ago. The leak is coming from the pulley area. I believe it may be timing cover leak, and front crank seal leak. Sometimes you loose 1 quart or more every week

135 to 155 psi compression is quite normal for that mileage, but I am sure your engine is burning oil right now, because it is a known problem for this 1zz-fe engine.

Since you replaced the valve cover already, how about go ahead and check your timing chain tensioner.

I agree, probably the tensionor. You can replace the oring or buy a new Toyota tensionor for $30.
