I have a 2000 tacoma 2.7l 4wd 5speed it's got 194,xxx miles on it. I noticed while driving it the other day I heard what sounded like a knock noise coming from somewhere up front in the motor area near like the back passenger side. It only makes the noise at around 2,200rpm and its not constant , it doesn't do it all the time while driving only around those rpm. There is no knock sounds at idle or start up, but once you load the engine up it does it and goes away. I'm not familiar with these motors does anyone on here have any idea what it might be
