Just a heads up guys. There's a 2001 Corolla sitting in the coltous junk yard here in Danville IL. It's looks like it has a blown engine although I didn't see any oil. The interior is still in good shape and it still has the casette and cd player installed. The tires are not bad 175s. No damage on the outside other than a few scratches etc. It looks like a dark green. I was up there this morning looking for some parts for my 7th gen corolla. Anyway Just thought I'd let you guys know..

do u remember what trim it was?...ve, ce, le?

and do u remember the interior colour?...i'm interested in the center console (arm rest) in the tan colour...was it a match from the junkyard car?
I believe it was a CE model. The interior color was beige and yes it had a center console, The bad news is I do remember the lid being broken as far as I remember.
darn, the lid i can replace but i'm in search of the console in a tan interior colour...heh...been searching for a long time...:headbang:
Well your tan and my beige might be the same thing.. Is there a color code anywhere I can look and check? I have to admit I'm a bit color blind lol.. If it is the right one I can snag it for you but you might have to move quickly on it. It's raining pretty hard today but tomorrow I might be able to get over and check again for you. do you have a picture of what you're looking for and I can check they're the same?

The color code you guys are after is 3M5. That's my car's color.

Can you take the instructions I posted in the other guy's "corolla is gone" thread and pull the engine room main wire intact for me? I'll buy it off of you. :D

I also need the orange guy in the pic below... look up from driver's footwell. It is clipped there. Easiest way to get at it is to unbolt the junction block from below, then pull forward while pressing the right tab in this pic. Then you can slip a small screwdriver there and release it. I need that for my fog light relay. I'll offer $5 shipped for it.

Thanks a lot. :D

EDIT: Can you at least get me the ambient temperature sensor plug (dangling below hood latch) if you are not pulling the whole wire? Mine just broke. :(

I'll pull bits and bobs for people but I'm not tearing into a car simply because I don't have the time. I'll see if I can get that fog light bit for you when I'm up there next, the rest I'll have to see how easy they are to remove. Just a note too if you need something don't refer them to another post, just copy and paste it into this so I don't have to go looking for it.. Thanks

That instruction I mentioned is too long to copy & paste - don't want to clutter up your thread.

I understand - took me 3 hours to extract my wire from my car so I can mod it in the comfort of my basement.

Now this is what I need:

Two fog light plugs behind bumper with a length of wire attached
Ambient temperature sensor plug
that orange piece I posted above

The above should just be clip and go. :D Tell me how much they cost you.

the colour code for my car is: 03M5 / FA40

i believe the 03M5 is the exterior colour and the FA40 is the interior colour.

the tan is officially called "medium neutral bone"

here is a pic of my car interior colour (this is not my car):

darn, the pic is so small (this is much larger): http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5412/asdfasdfo.jpg

here is a pic of the beige console on the passenger seat and the tan installed in b/w the seats:

if you are still having a little bit of trouble determining which colour the interior is would you be able to snap a few pics of the console while you're at the junkyard?...i appreciate this favour you're doing for me.
