Hi I just bought a Sienna and recently I replaced the alternator because every light was flickering and it was shorting out internally however with a good battery I replaced the alternator less than 3 days ago and the same thing is happening with the flickering and surging of lights. Is there another known problem that has caused me to go through 2 alternators within a month??? Thanks.

Many auto parts stores will check your alternator and battery for free in the parking lot. After they check it and tell you the results, mention the warning lights and see what they say.

Could be a bad ground connection. Follow the battery's negative cable to where it connects to the chassis, and disconnect and clean it.

Thank you for your suggestions!!!
I will have the system tested and will take a look at main grounds.
