What's so Hard? Disconnect the battery, disconnect all wires to the alternator after drawing a diagram, relieve tension on the belt, remove bolts holdi it in place. Right?

The hard part is when you miss that there is a second bolt holdong the alt in place and the tensioner bolt is rusted. In this case you hear a pop and the tensioner bolt head pops off. Be sure to loosen both horizontal bolts on the underside fo the alternator.

Most definitely lift the battery ground. The alternator is always hot at the battery terminal. On the I4, I believe you have to take the tension off the belt. You tension the belt on the V6 by using the tensioning bolt on the AC compressor. Don't get carried away with tightening the belt.
