I have a 2002 Sienna XLE with ESC and Traction Control. The Tirepressure Monitoring System light does not work. The botton on the dash that should be Tire pressure system reset is trac off. Is there another botton for TPMS? The dealer does not know what the isuue is. They replaced the ESC computer and ABS computer and the light still does not come on.

Does anyone know anything about this? Any help is appreciated.:)

TPMS Light

The light dos not come on at start up. I am going to drop the air pressure on one tire agin to see if that turns the light on.
Does anyone else have a 2001-2003 Sienna XLE with traction control? does your Tire pressure monitoring light come on at start up? My van is a USA car and the dealer is telling me that the light on US cars does not come on at start up.

Problem Regarding Inactive TPMS w/ 2002 Sienna XLE w/ TRAC and VSC

If you've seen the manual or the brochure,

TPMS is N/A with TRAC and VSC for 2001-2003 due to TRAC and VSC replacing those sensors. If TPMS was active and there was a flat tire, TRAC and VSC will turn on correcting nothing and will lead your car slowly driving. If your tire was losing Traction, TPMS would think the tire was flat and so on...

The early TPMS were not useful. Later in 2007, they introduced the Direct TPMS for the 2007 Sienna. This was far more superior then the Earlier TPMS systems.

You replaced something for nothing, I feel sorry for you paying $$$ for fixing nothing...

Tim, Where in the manual is it? Do you have the page number? Also, luckily, the car is under warranty, so I did not pay anything.

Thanks,
