Bought a 2003 2W 6 cylinder new from dealer. now have 130k.

I'm finding the cost to replace the timing belt, water pump, various seals and such is running from $1200 to $1800 in the San Jose area, and these quotes are not from a dealer. These prices are coming from shops that are either AAA certified or on Angie's List.

Any Highlander owners in the Bay Area that have had this service, what price(s) have you paid?

Thanks

Can't speak for the Bay Area, but I live in the Boston area so the costs may/should be similar (?)

Just had my timing belt replaced by my local mechanic, did the full kit including water pump and tensioners and also replaced the other belts at the same time. Total cost was about $900.

Note that this was for a 2001 6Cyl AWD, so if those are different then my costs could be off...
