2003 Sequoia SR5 2WD 249k miles with a weird problem on my rear passenger windows. So I know after you turn the car off the windows will work briefly but I am have an issue to where I leave the Sequoia sitting couple minutes, hours even over night and get back into the sequoia and the rear door windows still go up and down. It’s almost like the windows are running hot off the battery vs ignition relay ( I’m no mechanic sorry if I butchered the terms)

Any ideas? I know most other people have the issue of windows not working but I guess I must be having a 1st world problem with them working too much (joking obviously)

Do you have an aftermarket alarm?

I removed the alarm about a year ago due to a potential issue with it creating a parasitic draw. Only noticed the windows recently.

I have the wiring diagram if you want to send me a PM. From there you should be able to find the short.
