2004 Sienna engine cranking noise

I own a 2004 Sienna, me and some friends have noticed an engine cranking noise in the vehicles. The local service department acknowledge this problem, and stated that Toyota is investigating the source of the problem. please let me know if anyone has the same problem and how we can address this issue, Thanks.
