I'm installing new speakers into my Camry and I'm running into issue after issue. First is that I was sold two front speaker brackets and not a rear bracket kit.
The second thing is that on the front brackets only two of the four screw holes line up with the bracket(opposite sides), It doesn't matter which way I choose, only two holes diagonal from each other will ever line up. My speakers also didn't come with mounting screws, is that normal for 6x9 speakers?
I've only ever used 6.5 before and the mounting hardware was Included.
I saw online somewhere that the factory rear speaker grill should be used but mine, like so many others, is just a crumbly pos that's making a mess. How will I use the included speaker grilles in the rear?
Does anybody have pictures or any other tips from their experience with similar Camrys? What was supposed to be a 1 afternoon job has been stretched to two days and i just want to get it over with at this point

I’m sure others have way more experience with this than I do but I changed mine out last year. The rear speakers did not come with brackets. You have to use self tapping screws and secure them. (Mine were Not included) I re-used the same screws and drilled small pilot holes for them from the trunk side. I’ve since bought new screws to use since I get some vibration with a lot of bass but haven’t switched them them yet.

Good luck.
