I was wondering if anyone has heard or has problems with the 2005 Camry ABS light that comes on and off? (Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution). Bought the car, later that night started it the light was on and stayed on, called the dealership and was told to bring it in the next day. The light was off, they took it for a 6 mile test drive and they got a rock chip in windsheild, no light. Driving back home light came back on, drove back to the dealership, waited for someone to look at the car light went off! They resetted the codes, and was told it has been fixed. Next day started all over again.
For the windshield after complaining for 3 hours about the rock chip they got while test driving my "NEW CAR" they will replace the windshield.

My grandma is the one who bought the car. She got a real good deal on the car, after spending 4 hours at the dealership she talked them down to $$$ saved almost 5000.00, she got all the options there was to get for the car. Once she got home and started having problems with the light coming on, she was calling the dealership and complaining for hours, thats my Grandma! She was upset when they wouldn't give her $7000.00 for her trade in. She was trying to trade her Honda Accord 2dr with only 45K original miles, extremely clean.

Also, that does suck. I had little problems like that when I bought my Altima and here I am 2 yrs later with similar problems...

yeah i had the same thing happen to me one morning......got started car and ABS light was blinking then stayed on.....after a few miles of driving it turned off.....its been about 4 days and going since ive seen that problem come up..... hmmmmm hope it aint something stupid
