My right side indicator doesn't work with the turn signal switch, hazard flashers, or key FOB. Left side works perfectly. When using the right signal, the flasher clicks and the dash blinker flashes briefly at the beginning of each blink.

I have disassembled the turn signal switch as per the 1998 and 2002 YouTubes but the switch on the 2005 if a different design. Mine is not worn like the YouTubes.

I don't have a repair manual for this car yet as I just got it last month. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Has there ever been body damage on the right side? Sometimes the 'lowest-bidder' shops don't bother to check for ancillary damage such as washer fluid lines (personal experience), wiring harnesses, and ground wire connections. Same goes for any recent unrelated under-hood repairs or even a stereo installation.

Even if not, it would not be a waste of time to trace back the wiring, starting at the offending lamp(s) to make sure there's no wiring damage and especially to confirm the ground wire connections are both clean and tight. On two different (non-Toyota) cars I owned, grounding issues were the cause of both a jittery gas gage (MGB) and reverse lights turning on when the brakes lights did (Cuda).

Also remove the actual bulbs and check for corrosion, locking tab damage, or distorted connection points on the bulbs.

PS Might be too late now, but if available, Haynes manuals are far better quality than Chilton, IMHO.
